League of Legends patch 8.16: Nexus Blitz and Cosmic Skins

2018-08-01 PyPKjE 0

League of Legends patch 8.16: Nexus Blitz and Cosmic Skins League of Legends’ next big content patch is 8.16, introducing Nexus Blitz. Patch 8.16 is a smaller update, part of Riot’s bi-monthly alternating patch schedule, so at the moment we’re a little light on balance changes, although there’s plenty of new skins to take a look at, as well as that fancy new “experimental” game mode.  Nexus Blitz is a brand new League of Legends game mode. It’s still early in development, so could be subject to a lot of change, but at the moment it seems that it’s a fast-paced mode that promotes aggressive play around important in-game events (and the rewards they offer). Want in? You’ll need the best League of Legends champions. This patch also contains five brand-new skins. There’s the Cosmic line, with Ashe, Lulu, and Xin Zhao all looking to the heavens, but also a new Mecha skin for Aurelion Sol (that looks a lot […]

This is the Police 2 Review – PCGamer

This is the Police 2 Review – PCGamer From PCGamer: “In This Is The Police, Jack Boyd spent his last days as Freeburg police chief in a frenzy of corruption, trying to keep the city clean while also working with the Mafia and collecting as many kickbacks as he could. In an all too realistic move, the sequel sees him evade justice and slip into a new job advising the Sheriff of a small town police force. Which, it turns out, is not an easy retirement at all.” Source: This is the Police 2 Review – PCGamer

Fortnite's latest weapon is the high-capacity Drum Gun

2018-07-02 PyPKjE 0

Fortnite’s latest weapon is the high-capacity Drum Gun I find that the passage of time is now more or less defined by the arrival of new Fortnite weapons, and thankfully, this week is no different. The Drum Gun is the latest means of destruction heading to Epic’s battle royale. As is well-established tradition at this point, the new weapon first appeared in Fortnite’s ‘new updates’ section, which opens up as players log into the game. The Drum Gun shows up there, and its caption says it comes “with a high capacity drum magazine and a quick rate of fire.” There are plenty of them out there, so we’ve gathered the most worthy into a list of the best battle royale games. Players who came to Fortnite from PUBG might recognise the gun as similar to the DP-28, which appeared in Bluehole’s offering to the genre. Fans of 1920s Americana will likely enjoy the Drum Gun for its easy comparisons to […]

2018-06-08 PyPKjE 0

Biggest PS4 Games Of E3 2018: Spider-Man, The Last Of Us 2, And More We’re nearly five years into the PS4’s life cycle, which means it’s going to be all about the games at E3 2018. It’s possible some of kind of big tech or hardware may be teased, but it’s far more likely that Sony will wait on those types of announcements in favor of details for its latest games. Here are some of the biggest PS4 games we’re assuming are going to be at this year’s E3. We hope most of them are playable, but even if some only show up as a trailer, it’s another chance to hear more about these games. You’ll notice that many of these titles have been announced, but also included are titles we’re guessing based on the list of companies on E3’s official homepage. The first glimpse we’ll have at many of these games will be during the pre-E3 press conferences. To make […]

Mafia 4 would have been set in '70s Las Vegas

2018-04-13 PyPKjE 0

Mafia 4 would have been set in ’70s Las Vegas While the biggest headline out of Kotaku’s feature on the state of Mafia III developers Hangar 13 was news that a new BioShock is in development, but there’s plenty more of interest in the full report. Among other things, the planned setting for Mafia IV. These are the best games on PC. In 2017, development at Hangar 13 reportedly split into two groups, one focused on DLC for the previous game, and one building the concepts for the studio’s next project. The first idea was naturally Mafia IV, and early ideas set the game in 1970s Las Vegas, with the “glitz and glamor of mob-controlled Sin City.” Source: Mafia 4 would have been set in ’70s Las Vegas
